On May 2, 2025, at approximately 2:11pm, Winchester Police received a call for shots fired in the area of Bellview Avenue and Valley Avenue. Officers arrived and canvassed the area and interviewed witnesses. Officers located bullet fragments along the west side of Valley Avenue indicating shots were fired by a suspect.
Further investigation revealed a vehicle was struck in a nearby driveway and a residence was struck. Officers located on the east side of Valley Avenue, a location thought to be where the suspect fired the shots from. Officers secured and collected several spent shell casings from that immediate area. Witnesses describe a male dressed in all black who was in the area where the shots were fired from. Winchester Detectives responded and processed the scene.
