Shots Fired Investigation (Chase Street)

This morning, at approximately 5:01a.m., the Winchester Police Department (WPD) responded to a report of shots fired in the 400 block of Chase Street.

A residence was struck and officers discovered shell casings. Detectives processed the scene and canvassed the area. No injuries were reported.

WPD is seeking information from the public. If you live in the area and have security camera footage or any information, please contact WPD at 540-662-4131. We do not believe the incident represents a larger or ongoing threat to the community. Updates will be provided as they become available.
