On Saturday, January 10th, at approximately 7:50pm, WPD officers responded to the area of Wilson Boulevard after a report of an individual brandishing a firearm
.
Officers set up a perimeter, and the surrounding apartments were evacuated due to an individual having a firearm. The suspect was identified as Stephen Neal-Crowe and charges were obtained. It was determined he was not in the apartment, but officers recovered the firearm in the parking lot of the apartment complex.
Warrants were obtained for Neal-Crowe for grand larceny of a firearm (VA code 18.2-95) and two counts of brandishing of a firearm (18.2-282). Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts is encouraged to contact WPD at (540) 662-4131.
