Alarms
The Winchester Police Department responds to all calls when an alarm is received. If your alarm company cancels the call, officers will still respond to confirm that everything is okay. If the cancellation doesn’t occur, responding officers will check your business or residence. This is considered a false alarm. After the second false alarm in a calendar year, you will receive a warning notice. The third and subsequent false alarms received in a calendar year will result in a fee.
