Winchester man arrested for stabbing incident

On August 26, 2017 at approximately 10:08 am, Winchester Police Department (WPD) officers responded to a residence in the 300 block of West Boscawen Street for a report of a domestic dispute in progress.  When officers arrived they discovered a 28-year-old female with a large wound to her neck. During the investigation, officers discovered that the female had an argument that morning with Andrew P. Massoneau, 26, of Winchester.  Allegedly, Massoneau refused to let the female leave the residence and the argument became physical.  A knife was introduced during the physical altercation and the female was stabbed in the neck. She was transported to the Winchester Medical Center for treatment.

Massoneau was arrested, charged with Abduction and transported to the Northwestern Regional Adult Detention Center where he is being held without bond.  The investigation is still ongoing and more charges could be forthcoming.
