On April 14, 2017 at approximately 6:20 p.m., Winchester Police Department (WPD) officers responded to 2076 South Pleasant Valley Road for reports of a sexual assault.
The victim, a female employee of Sally’s Beauty Supply reported that a man followed her around the business and touched her inappropriately. The man did not speak English but showed the victim his Wingate Inn hotel key card and a piece of paper inviting the woman to his hotel room.
The suspect was described as a Middle Eastern male approximately 5'11" as was wearing a white t-shirt and grey pants or jeans. He was also wearing brown leather sandals and a black fanny pack.
A short time later, officers located the suspected male at the Wingate Inn, located at 150 Wingate Drive. The man was identified as Naser Atef Hanna Alrabadi, a Foreign National from Jordan. Alrabadi, 33, was charged with sexual assault and held without bond at the Northwestern Regional Adult Detention Center.
On April 15, officers received information of a similar incident that occurred on Wednesday, April 12th. The female victim, an employee at Kohl’s Department Store, stated a male matching the same description attempted to show her something on his phone. The male inappropriately touched her then showed the victim a yellow piece of paper inviting her to his hotel room. Alrabadi was identified on video surveillance in the business and served an additional warrant for misdemeanor sexual assault.
