Driver of getaway vehicle identified and in custody

Patricia Ann Miller, 50, of Winchester, has been identified as the driver of the getaway vehicle during last week’s robbery of a taxi driver. Miller was arrested and charged on May 30th for robbery. She was transported to Northwest Regional Adult Detention Center where she is being held without bond.

The victim of the robbery, a taxi driver, reported that a female subject that she had picked up in the downtown area displayed a knife and took the driver’s cash and cell phone. The taxi driver was not injured. The female, later identified as 46-year-old Winchester resident Lydia Honaker, fled from the scene in a black Chevy Sonic that was driven by Miller. Winchester Police located the vehicle in the 300 block of North Loudoun Street, near the location where the taxi driver had originally picked up the female.
