The Winchester Police Department (WPD) invites residents to attend its body-worn camera community forums that will be held at two convenient locations in the city, each at 6:00 p.m.:
July 11 - Rouss City Hall Council Chambers, 15 N. Cameron Street
July 18 - Shawnee Volunteer Fire Company, 2210 Valor Drive
During the forums, attendees will have the opportunity to talk with Chief John Piper and Major Kelly Rice about the department rollout of body-worn cameras that will take place in early August.
“This community forum will give you an opportunity to learn more about the program, to hear about our policies and procedures, and also to ask some important questions that you may have,” stated WPD Chief John Piper in the below online address to the public.
