The Winchester Police Department (WPD) conducted a warrant sweep on April 26, 2018. Officers made 28 total arrests.
Of the 28 arrested, ten were charged with possession and/or distribution of heroin, six of which resulted in the overdose of others. The remaining 18 persons face charges ranging from probation violation to possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine. Please see the attached graphic for charge totals.
